Professional Development, Meetings and Events
The Professional Development Committee of the SCMA hosts educational programs approximately 6 times per year relating to the business and substance of mediation. Past topics have included skill building, practice tips, marketing, confidentiality, using social networking to grow one’s practice and marketing tips.
PDC meetings are free to all SCMA members and $30 for non-members. Where the content of the meeting meets the State Bar of California MCLE requirements, MCLE credit will be available for a fee.
Meetings are typically held in the evenings beginning at 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. in various locations throughout the Los Angeles area.
