2018 Family Mediation Institute – Essential Skills and Innovative Approaches for Family Mediators

June 8 - June 9

The Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA) is proud of the fact that we are the leader for professional mediators in Southern California. SCMA provides training, skill-building, professional development, public outreach, networking and charitable opportunities for its membership. To further these goals and opportunities, the SCMA will hold its first annual Family Mediation Institute.

The Family Mediation Institute will provide a two day conference for experienced and new family mediators to gather with colleagues, learn new skills and innovative approaches for resolving family law disputes and obtain specialized training in divorce mediation. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to participate in this inaugural event.

Narrow Your Results

At the top of the page there is a section that says “Narrow Your Results”.  This area has drop down menus with checkboxes next to each item. Go through each menu section and click any or all of the items that match what type of event you’re looking for. Then click the button that says “Submit” to view your filtered results on the calendar below.

Change Calendar View

On the top right side of the calendar there are two fields – one says ‘Events In” and has a field where you can select which month to view. Next to that is a field that says “View As”. The default setting is “month”, so you can view the events like a regular calendar. If you prefer, though, you can opt to view the events in a list instead. Or, click “map” to view a map that highlights where each event is located. Finally, you can view as “photo” to see all a list of the event titles and their associated images.
