Week 3: Role Playing
Practice being a mediator through role-play exercises. Experience how each party feels during conflict as you take on different roles. Continue to gain a higher level of understanding of the methods you learned in the previous two weeks, and utilize these tools throughout the mediation session.
Week 4: Ethics & Opportunities
What are the ethical standards for mediators? Continue role-playing to enhance your skills. Also review the ethical standards for mediators and the issues they may face before, during and after a session. Learn about the variety of job opportunities available to you not only in the mediation field, but also in jobs that incorporate mediation skills in their hiring requirements.
