Please join us for our next meeting of the South Bay PDG, Tuesday, March 20,
2018, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Our discussion will be led by Mark Sarni, current SCMA member and co-lead for our SB PDG.  His presentation will deal with the California Evidence Code and ‘”confidentiality” and how these various sections relate to mediation and its participants.  His presentation will include several cases where the California courts have applied these code sections to certain fact patterns.  This will provide us a more in depth view of these codes and some interesting case studies.

As always we will allow time for any other topics/issues you wish to share or
get input from the group.

Color Coding

All community events are shown on the calendar in blue, while all events that are for SCMA members only are shown on the calendar in yellow. This lets people see at a glance what type of event they are able to attend.

Narrow Your Results

At the top of the page there is a section that says “Narrow Your Results”.  This area has drop down menus with checkboxes next to each item. Go through each menu section and click any or all of the items that match what type of event you’re looking for. Then click the button that says “Submit” to view your filtered results on the calendar below.

Change Calendar View

On the top right side of the calendar there are two fields – one says ‘Events In” and has a field where you can select which month to view. Next to that is a field that says “View As”. The default setting is “month”, so you can view the events like a regular calendar. If you prefer, though, you can opt to view the events in a list instead. Or, click “map” to view a map that highlights where each event is located. Finally, you can view as “photo” to see all a list of the event titles and their associated images.
