In celebration of Conflict Resolution Day, the USC Good Neighbors Program and the Institute for Nonviolence in Los Angeles are proud to? present:
SCMA’s 4th ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF PEER MEDIATION:
BRINGING CONFLICT RESOLUTION TO SCHOOLS?
Thursday, October 13 from 6pm-8pm ?in the Founders Room at the? Galen Center,? University of Southern California.
We encourage school administrators, counselors, teachers, students? and parents to come learn about the different peer ?mediation programs in?? Los Angeles. We will hear first hand about the positive ?impact? this training and practice has? on the students’ lives, the climate of the schools, and the ?students' communities.
This event will include speeches from student peer mediators about their? mediator training, their experiences in mediation, and the effects of the program. There will also be a panel discussion "starring" student peer mediators and peer mediation coordinators from elementary, middle, and high schools in Los Angeles.

There is no charge to attend the SCMA 4th Annual Celebration of Peer Mediation, thanks to the generous support of the USC Good Neighbors Program. As a grantee of this program, our co-host, The Institute for Nonviolence in Los Angeles, provides peer mediation training and support on five LAUSD "USC FAMILY OF SCHOOLS" campuses.
