LinkedIn plays an increasingly important role in mediators' social media presence and overall marketing efforts. Mark Lemke will present a primer on LinkedIn, providing an overview on how to set up your profile, and how to
take your existing profile to the next level. He will survey some of LinkedIn's unique features and the tools you can use to contact new clients, keep in touch with existing clients, and put LinkedIn to work for you. He will also reserve
time for your LinkedIn questions and discussion of your individual profiles.
Mark brings a rare combination of experience as plaintiff, defense, and coverage counsel. Having served in each capacity, he is uniquely able to identify litigation risk, value cases, and bring cases to closure. He personally served as mediator in over 1,000 cases to date, with an excellent resolution rate.
Beyond his private mediation practice, Mark serves on mediation panels for the EEOC, Court of Appeal, Central District Court, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association. He also serves as Adjunct Mediation Clinic Supervisor for Pepperdine's prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, guest lecturer at area law schools, arbitrator, and temporary judge. Mark earned his LL.M. from the Straus Institute, and holds degrees from USC Law School and UC Berkeley.
Mark serves on the SCMA Board of Governors, Membership committee, and Speakers Bureau.
