Judith C. Nesburn is an experienced Family Law Attorney/Mediator and Collaborative Attorney who is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has lectured extensively throughout California and the US on Family Law, Family Law Mediation and Collaborative Law and has guest lectured in the UCLA Law School Mediation Class and the USC Graduate School of Social Work. Ms. Nesburn has served on the California State Bar Family Law Executive Committee, as Continuing Legal Education Chair for the California State Bar Family Law Section and as Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution standing committee of the State Bar Family Law Section. She is a board member of the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association and has served on its teaching faculty since inception of its Basic Collaborative Law training program. Judith has been actively promoting the practice of Mediated and Collaborative Premarital Agreements and has co authored the article, “Isn’t It Unromantic? Collaboratively Negotiating Pre and Postmarital Agreements” published in the “Collaborative Review”. Ms Nesburn received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from UCLA, her Masters in Social Work, magna cum laude, from Columbia University, and her law degree from Loyola Law School, where she was admitted to the Law Honor Society. Judith has the highest Martindale Hubbell peer review rating (AV) in legal ability and legal ethics and is recognized as a Southern California SuperLawyer. Judith is in private practice in Brentwood.
