I am running for a seat on the SCMA Board because the SCMA has been instrumental in building my practice, and I want to give back to this group & its members. My aim is to ramp up our programming and networking events to meet the many and varied needs of our members, whether commercial mediators, community mediators, academics, budding businesspeople, and those looking to foster dialogue in our increasingly polarized times.
I have a foot in the Commercial field through my private mediation practice, the Community field through my service to the County, the Academic field as an Adjunct for Pepperdine’s Straus Institute, and the Government field through my service on panels for the EEOC, Central District, and Court of Appeal. I am also a member of the LA County Bar and Beverly Hills Bar Association panels. My service to SCMA includes the Speaker’s Bureau, Membership Committee, and Annual Conference Committee. I will also be presenting at the upcoming Annual Conference. I’ve had the opportunity to meet many of you through the SCMA’s many events, and PDGs. And I’m a graduate of the SCMA Mentorship Program.
I look forward to bringing my ideas, drive, and commitment to representing each of you to the SCMA Board.
